Favorite Linux Commands
https://mreschke.com/25/favorite-linux-commands

A list of my favorite or often used (and forgotten) linux commands (favcom).

Most of the favorite one liners below come from http://commandlinefu.com These are only the ones that I have found to be useful for me. Browse and search commandlinefu for yourself to find thousands of incredible linux commands. Also check out the references links, a lot of them simply goto commandlinefu with custom search queries.

Bootable KNOPPIX USB Drive
https://mreschke.com/19/bootable-knoppix-usb-drive

Knoppix 5.0.1 boots rather nicely from a USB key. It's getting easier to get it working, as the USB bugs from the previous versions have been fixed. This is a "recipe" for creating a Knoppix bootable USB key. It was originally posted to the forums: http://knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25402
